ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Beijing (L/D)
Visit of the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Beijing-Opera at the Chaoyang Theater.
Day 2 - Beijing (B/L)
Visit of the Great Wall at Juyongguan, and the Ming Tomb and its Sacred Way.
Beijing-Roast-Duck Dinner.
Day 3 - Beijing to Datong by train (B/L)
Visit of the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven.
Overnight train to Datong.
Day 4 - Datong (L/D)
From the train station, visit of the Yungang Grotto, the Huayan Temple and the Nine Dragon Wall.
Day 5 - Datong to Xuankong Temple to Wutaishan by private vehicle (B/L/D)
Two-hour transfer to the Xuankong Temple and visit.
Transfer to Wutaishan (about 3 hours) and overnight stay.
Day 6 - Wutaishan (B/L/D)
Tour of the Wutaishan Temples.
Day 7 - Wutaishan to Taiyuan by private vehicle (B/L/D)
Transfer to Taiyuan (about 5 hours). Hotel check-in.
Day 8 - Taiyuan to Pingyao to Taiyuan by private vehcile (B/L/D)
Transfer to Pingyao. Visit of the Shuanglin Temple, the Qiao's House and the Pingyao Ancient City.
Transfer back to Taiyuan. Rest of day is at leisure.
Day 9 - Taiyuan to Beijing by flight (B/L)
After breakfast, vistit of the Jin's Temple. Transfer to airport for flight to Beijing.
Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
Day10 Beijing (B)
After breakfast, hotel check-out and transfer to airport.
