ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Fly to Zhangjiajie (No Meal)
Afternoon flight to Zhangjiajie. You are met on arrival and transferred to Hotel
Day 2 - Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
A full-day tour to Zhangjiajie National Park including the use of a cable-car to visit the village of Huangshizhai with its more than 2,000 peaks and numerous steep cliffs topped with greenish, sturdy pines and virgin forest. After lunch, stroll along the all year round crystal clear stream water of the Golden Whip Brook. A poem describes its scenery saying:"The clear stream winds among green mountains, the valley is a gallery and the traveler seems like a celestial being. When the celestial being walks in the gallery with each step he takes, the scene changes a lot from different directions."
Day 3 - Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
The whole day to explore the Yellow Dragon Cave, the best one in China. It has four stories and an underground river. All along the cave, stalagmites and stalactites vary in shape and color. After lunch, ascend the Mount Tianzi by cable car. It covers an area of 63 square kilometers, which has a combined characteristic of being fantastic, dangerous, graceful, tranquil and wild. Standing on the summit, one can take into sight all the peaks and the valleys.
Day 4 - Zhangjiajie to Changsha by private vehcile (B/L/D)
After breakfast, transfer to Changsha and visit of the famous Mawangdui Museum, where are displayed some 3,000 precious relics and a female corpse buried 2,100 years ago and is still fairly well preserved. Then, visit of the Yuelu Academy, which has a history of more than 1,000 years and is the home of the Chu culture.
Day 5 - Changsha departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.
