ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Arrive at Zhangjiajie (no meal)
Appreciate the mysterious and quite border city as a Chinese painting on the way to the hotel by private car.
Day 2 - Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
After Breakfast in the hotel, head to Zhangjiajie National Forest park, which regarded as 'the Animals’ Paradise, the Plants’ Genehouse'. Thousands of different shapes of quartzite sandstone peaks and pillars scattering on the top of Yellowstone Village by cableway, After lunch, rambling in the valley of Golden Whip Greek adjoining subtropical parkland, fresh air, clear waters, birds singing…after the Golden Whip Rock, Pig King Carrying the Beauty, visiting the Local Teahouse to study the Chadou. After dinner enjoy the local show of the Tujia Minority customs.
Day 3 - Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
After Lunch, Visit the beautiful landscape and the center of Wulingyuan of No. 1 Natural Bridge Under the Heaven by taking the No. 1 outdoor elevator, the highest in the world. After lunch, leading another scenic zone of Suoxi Nature Reserve to visit Baofeng Lake, a veritable place of graceful mountains and charming waterway up the mountain range, 85 meters above the ground, taking the small flower boat to sightsee Stone Gate Welcoming Guest, Peacock Displaying Colorful Tail, and Golden Toad Biting the Moon, Fairy Lady Reflected in the Lake ,while listening the beautiful Mountain songs of Tujia people like in ‘Paradise in the Human World’. Then after the whole-day climbing, enjoy the local Chinese herb massage for your feet.
Day 4 - Zhangjiajie-Phoenix Town (B/L/D)
After Breakfast, head to Phoenix Town, one of the most beautiful Town in China with historical and cultural significance. On the way, have a stop to visit Furong(Lotus) Town, a ancient small village of Tujia and Miao minorities with wellkept slabstone and the old foot-hanging house. You can taste the famous Rice Doufu. With arrive at Phoenix Town in the afternoon, visit the small town with a long-history antiquity, tasting the local ginger-sugar, feeling the silver culture of Miao minority. After dinner, enjoying the fire performance of Miao minority.
Day 5 - Phoenix Town-Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
Continuing the visit in Phoenix Town, bridges over the waters and unique house built on stilts display a harmony. Tuojiang River runs through the town, the people here remain the reasonably traditional lifestyle. we will visit museums, old houses, ancestral halls and writer Shen Congwen and other celebrities residences. After lunch, back to Zhangjiajie
Day 6 - Zhangjiajie Departure (B/L)
After Breakfast, visit Tianmen Mountain, the hightest Mountain in Zhangjiajie by the longest cableway in the world of 7400m long, on the top you can get a bird’s –eye view of the whole Zhangjiajie City. Then visit the Tianmen Cave which is a natural cave opened in 263AD like a gateway to the sky. After lunch, stop in the Tujia Folk Custom Park, a large-scale museum of Tujia people’s folk custom in various aspects such as architecture, food, agriculture, music instruments, military and so on. And you can get close understanding of Tujia people’s religion, worships, witchcraft in a performance in the park. After dinner, farewell to Zhangjiajie.
